I would love to see Trek given the same treatment for kids that Star Wars, Marvel Comics, GI Joe, etc. have gotten, with toys, games, books, etc. aimed at the much younger audience. I'm thinking along the lines of those Heroes distorted/caricatured versions of the various characters. And what about an animated show aimed at that audience? If Batman and Spider-Man can do it, and even (to an extent) the Clone Wars, why not Trek? When I was a kid, there was all kinds of cool Trek stuff for young kids to play with. You know...back when it was *fun*.

The new flick shows that Trek can be fun again, and I keep hoping that someone will pick up the baton and develop something aimed at the young'uns.
